Met Gala 2014

This year, the Met Gala celebrated British-born couturier Charles James who revolutionized American fashion in the 20th century, and fashion's most glamorous night was held at the just-opened Anna Wintour Costume Centre, so named in honour of American Vogue's powerful editor.

And guests at this year's ball were instructed to follow a White Tie and Decorations theme. The end result was gorgeous ballgowns and sharply tailored, well, tails.
